Yesterday the Wason Center for Public Policy at Christopher Newport University released a poll on the upcoming statewide elections.

Northam is showing double digit leads in Northern Virginia and Hampton Roads. He is also most popular among women and voters under 45.
Gillespie has a slight edge in rural southern and southwestern Virginia. He is showing an eight-point lead in Richmond/Central Virginia.
Voters polled expressed that K-12 education is their top concern.
The Lt. Governor race has Justin Fairfax, D with 46% of the likely voters compared to Jill Vogel’s, R 42%.
The Attorney General race has current AG Mark Herring, D leading 47% to John Adams, R 40%.
