With less than a month before Virginians head to the polls, Democratic candidate Terry McAuliffe has an 8-point lead over Republican candidate Ken Cuccinelli shows the latest Quinnipiac University poll.
McAuliffe also leads with women voters by 53% to 43%. Cuccinelli leads male voters by 45% to 41%. Independents favor McAuliffe showing 40% to Cuccinelli’s 38% and Libertarian candidate Robert Sarvis has 13%.
In the last few weeks Cuccinelli has focused on his opposition to the Affordable Care Ac and the expansion of Medicaid. These happen to be two health care policies that McAuliffe supports.
