Lt. Governor Bill Bolling made his final decision on March 12th to not run as an Independent in the upcoming Governor’s race. The Lt. Governor cited the following reasons why he choose not to run; fundraising, having to sever his ties with the Republican Party and his growing dissatisfaction with the political environment in Virginia.

The two candidates for Governor will be Republican and current Virginia Attorney General Ken Cuccinelli and Democrat Terry McAuliffe.
